Well, with the large amount of snow that we had yesterday it really started to feel like Christmas at our house. We decided that it was tree time! We went to Home Depot, not very special, but they do wrap up the tree and load it for you. This made Kel quite happy. We brought the tree home and decorated it. The kids had a blast and fought over who would put the star on. We decided that one could put it up and the other could straighten it. It was a fun night UNTIL I was sitting and watching the lights, making my Christmas "to do" list when the lovely tree came crashing down. I screamed, Kel came running. No one was injured except my favorite tree topper! We have been putting up a real Christmas tree since we've been married (11 years) and we've never had a tree fall. I cried, Kel cleaned and the tree is just as pretty as it was the first time, minus a few tree topper bulbs.
