We are one happy Husker family!

We headed to Lincoln last weekend to enjoy some family time and some Husker football! We had a great trip. I'm not sure why I didn't get the camera out until game day, but I didn't. You will just have to imagine all the fun we had before the game. We had a really nice dinner out with Grandma Sherry, Lindsay, Justin and Stephanie. The girls all went to see Steph's new apartment after dinner and then we relaxed at Lindsay and Justin's house. Friday night we had a fun family dinner at my Dad's house. Uncle Bill, Lindsay, Justin and Steph all came over to have some yummy pizza and cake to celebrate Uncle Bill's birthday. Steph ended up back at Lindsay's with us and we had a slumber party. The kids had so much fun seeing the family and they LOVED playing with Lindsay and Justin's dogs. Saturday was game day and we went to the Embassy and tailgated with Aunt Sandy, Uncle Fred, Steph, Lindsay, Justin and Robin. We ran into several Imperial friends, which was a fun surprise! It was a great way to spend the day. We mostly stayed up on the fifth floor and watched the craziness below. A great big thanks goes out to Aunt Sandy and Uncle Fred for sharing their football tickets with us. The seats were great and we loved every minute of it!

FUN! There is seriously nothing like a big time college football game. I wished we lived closer to Iowa - so we could check out a Hawkeye game. It's been 10 years since we've been back :(
